MERCEDES-BENZ E CLASS,

Overview

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a great luxury midsize car. It comes in sedan, coupe, convertible, and wagon body styles. The E-Class has a class-leading interior and a refined ride. An awful predicted reliability rating is about the only thing holding it back. It comes with a resplendent cabin and a ton of great tech features.

Inside

The Seating capacity varies with body style. Coupes and cabriolets seat four and leather upholstery comes standard. The sedan accommodates five on MB-Tex synthetic leather seats. Wagon models feature a rear-facing jump seat and have room for up to seven people. Power-adjustable front seats are standard throughout the lineup. Available upgrades include upgraded leather upholstery, ventilated and massaging front seats, heated front armrests, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, a power rear-window sunshade, and soft-close doors.

Driving

The E-Class provides a silky smooth ride, and its suspension soaks up most road flaws with ease. The available air suspension helps the ride feel even more cushioned. While this Mercedes-Benz isn’t a corner-carver, its well-weighted steering helps it tackle turns with composure. Rear-wheel drive comes standard and all-wheel drive is available. The E-Class has four engine options. Standard is a 255-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. A 362-horsepower V6 engine is available, or you could opt for a turbocharged inline-six paired with an electric motor that combines to make 429 horsepower.
