Toyota Camry has the basic qualities expected: a roomy cabin, plenty of trunk space, a comfortable ride and high crash test safety scores. The first is all-wheel drive, the second is standard Android auto integration. Toyota has been slow to incorporate third –party Smartphone integration, finally adding Apple Car play just last year. The Camry has an airy cabin that makes it easy to get in and out of. The Camry is spacious for both front and rear occupants and has great outward visibility. An optional 360-degree camera system makes it easier to navigate cramped parking lots and the user interface has large, clear gauges and simple, well-labeled buttons. The radio volume and tuning knobs are easy for the driver to reach but they are a bit stretch for the front passenger.
The Camry SE benefits from a slightly sportier suspension, it accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in an unimpressive 8.2 seconds. It will handle anything the average driver is bound to throw at it on a daily basis. The brakes are easy to control with a light and responsive pedal. The Camry’s stopping performance is above average. The transmission helps make up with reasonably good response and quick shifting with eight speeds, there’s always a gear for the occasion but two-gear downshifts when dip into gas as it tries to make do with available engine power.
