TOYOTA PRIUS,

Overview

Toyota Prius is sold in over 90 countries and regions. The global sale of the prius family totaled almost 6.115million unit representing 61% of the 10million hybrids. The sales of the Prius family are led by the prius liftback with 3.985 million units followed by the Aqua/prius with 1.38 million. Toyota prius is ranked as the all time best selling hybrid car in countries.

Inside

The Toyota Prius seats five people. Both rows provide enough head- and legroom for adults to ride comfortably and they remain supportive on long drives. The Prius has two complete sets of LATCH car-seat connectors and tether anchor for the middle seat. All LATCH anchors in the Prius are easy to locate and use. Cabin styling in the Prius is attractive and with quality materials. Few hybrids provide as much cargo space as the Prius. It gives you 24.6 to 27.4 cubic feet of room, depending on the trim which is enough for the family's vacation luggage or all of your stuff after an epic shopping spree. The Prius has a standard infotainment system with a 7-inch touch screen, a six-speaker audio system, three USB ports, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and Apple CarPlay. Available features include a moon roof, wireless device charging, an 11.6-inch touch screen, navigation, a 10-speaker JBL premium audio system, satellite radio, and HD Radio.

Driving

The Prius mostly meets expectations from a ride and handling standpoint. It's comfortable and composed over rough pavement and it remains poised around turns. Models equipped with the available all-wheel-drive system feel fairly similar to front-wheel-drive models, but they're more stable in inclement weather. Prius is not the kind of car you can drive aggressively on winding roads, though, and several rivals feel more engaging. Even by hybrid car standards, the Prius' fuel economy ratings are crazy good. The front-wheel-drive L Eco trim is the most efficient. It gets 58 mpg in the city and 53 mpg on the highway. Higher trim levels with FWD get 54/50 mpg city/highway. With all-wheel drive, ratings drop to 52/48 mpg.
